Yes. Camp Rena is licensed by the NYC Department of health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). We are a fully licensed and insured Day Camp.
Camp Rena is a superior camping program with a focus on skill development. We offer each camper a weekly session of gymnastics, music instrument instruction, vocal lessons, dance lessons, (tap, ballet, contemporary) art instruction and drama workshops. Our warm and caring staff ensure that each camper is treated as royalty.
Sure. We also offer baking, A&C, sports activities, alongside main activities and special events. At Rena we combine Ruach and talent for non-stop action packed excitement.
Camp Rena is comprised of four divisions. RENA for campers entering grades 2-6/ TEEN for campers entering 7&8th grade/BalleRENA for young campers entering Nursery-First grade/RENANIN for young boys entering nursery-first grade.
Camp hours are Mon-Thurs. 9AM-4PM and Fridays 9AM-2PM
Camp Rena is located at Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel 1271 E 35th St, Brooklyn, NY 11210 . We occupy the entire elementary and High school building, 90,000 sq. ft. facility-2 large Gyms, and playgrounds galore
We carefully screen and select all of our counselors to ensure that they are refined and responsible Bais Yaakov girls. At least 2 counselors are allotted per bunk.
Yes. Our campers go on exciting weekly trips.
We highly value the importance of teaching our campers about the Parasha, Pirkei Avos and בין אדם לחבר ו lessons that are contemporary and relevant to the camper’s daily life. Shiur sessions are provided twice a week by a highly skillful and engaging educator.
Camp Rena is a nut-safe facility. Each snack or food that we bring into the building is researched carefully to ensure its nut-free status.
Safety is our number one priority. We employ a full-time security guard to screen each incoming individual and the surrounding environment.
